Preparation
Wash the tomatoes, peel them, remove the seeds and chop them coarsely.
Slice the bacon into small cubes and let it brown on high heat in a few spoons of oil.
Clean and chop the onion.
When the bacon cubes are brown and crunchy, remove them from the pan and replace them with the chopped onion and let it brown for a few minutes.
Add the tomatoes, salt, the minced red pepper (if you don’t like a spicy sauce, you can use ground black pepper instead) and let it cook on high fire.
After 8-10 minutes, you can add the bacon and let the sauce thicken, leaving it on the fire without a lid.
